Talia, who was known for her status as a beauty guru, shared helpful make-up and skincare tips through Makeup is My WigTwitter, and Instagram, and documented her ongoing fight against two forms of aggressive cancer, neuroblastoma and preleukemia.
After being in hospital for the last six months, this week Talia lost her battle against the disease. Her family broke the news with an official announcement on herFacebook page.
#‎prayfortalia‬ It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl.‬‬
Talia’s inspiring videos and “Cancer Vlogs” touched millions of fans with her uplifting stories and unwavering spirit during her continuous bouts of chemotherapy and radiation therapy, attracting over 40 million views.
In a video interview with Shira Lazar from WhatsTrending , the brave beauty blogger admitted her fans were a source of inspiration during her cancer battle.
“YouTube, and all the support that I get from everyone telling me that I'm inspiring and not to give up, it really makes you stop and think about how many people there are that love you... You're not there alone," Talia said.
The young star’s infectious spirit attracted the attention of numerous celebrities, including Ellen Degeneres. Last September Talia shot to worldwide fame when she appeared on the Ellen show, during which Degeneres made her an honorary Covergirl.
Following Talia’s death, Degeneres, among other high profile celebrities, have shared their grief at the loss of her young friend on social media.

When asked by Ellen how she manages to stay so positive even when her cancer treatment options were running out, a cheery Talia said, "What do you want me to do? Be depressed? A little fishy told me to 'Just keep swimming! Just keep swimming!’” – in reference to DeGeneres’ character Dory in the film Finding Nemo.
